Built on experience since 1999.
Specialist Machine Parts Ltd was founded in 1999 by Trevor Roy Ball, following a long and established career in engineering and welding equipment.
Before relocating to the West Midlands in the late 1990s, Trevor successfully built and sold A A Auto & Welding Co., gaining decades of hands-on experience in welding machinery, electronics, and industrial repair. This background laid the foundations for Specialist Machine Parts Ltd — a business created to offer honest, technically sound solutions in an industry where practical knowledge matters.
From the outset, the company was built around one core principle: repair and support equipment properly, rather than replacing it unnecessarily.

Continuing the legacy
Since 2016, the business has been carried forward by Matthew & Philippa (son & daughter of Trevor) along with a small dedicated team of experienced technicians to continue in Trevor’s footsteps.
